Quick answer

At your first visit, you'll have an unhurried conversation with Derek Wimmer, an in-office ultrasound to see the problem clearly, and a personalized, honest plan. When appropriate, treatment can often begin the same day.

What to expect

From your first call or text, our goal is to make care feel personal and clear. You'll spend your full appointment with Derek — not a rotating cast — and leave understanding your options and the plan.

How to prepare

  • Bring a photo ID and your insurance information (for your records)
  • Bring a list of current medications and allergies
  • Bring any prior imaging or records, if available
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the affected area
  • Write down your goals — what you want to get back to doing

After your evaluation

You'll receive a personalized, honest plan — including whether non-surgical or regenerative options are appropriate, what to expect, and clear next steps. We'll also discuss transparent pricing and any financing options.

Frequently asked questions

Bring a photo ID, a list of current medications, and any relevant prior imaging (X-rays, MRI) or records if you have them. If you don't, we can often image the area in-office with ultrasound.

Longer than you may be used to. Your visit is unhurried and spent directly with Derek Wimmer so we can understand your concern and build a plan.

When clinically appropriate, many patients can begin treatment planning — or receive select treatments — during the initial visit.
